A soapbox is a raised platform on which one use to stand to make a speech. The term originates from the days when speakers would elevate themselves by standing on a wooden crate originally used for shipment of soap. Today a modern form of the soapbox is a blog or a website on which a user publishes one's thoughts to whoever reads the page. We are a group of writers who believe that our work is worthy to be read. We refuse to wait for publishers to turn our work away as though we have nothing to say. Our books, poems, raps and songs are shared freely for the love of the art. ENJOY!!!
